Reps. John Maher and Paul Costa were the lead sponsors of a House Resolution honoring Bethel Park native and public television icon Rick Sebak. Sebak, the acknowledged creator of the "scrapbook documentary" genre, has earned national acclaim for his documentaries on WQED-TV, including interesting subjects such as Kennywood Days and "Things that aren't there anymore." Sebak grew up in the south hills and graduated from Bethel Park High School. His mother, Peggy, served on the Bethel Park School Board during most of the 1990's.
