Rep. John Maher (R-40) is welcoming Secretary of Agriculture Sam Hayes to the Trax Strawberry Festival to conduct a “Pennsylvania Produce Simply Delicious” event. The event is being held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 7, at the Trax Strawberry Festival at Trax Farms, 528 Trax Road, Findleyville.

Simply Delicious is a promotional program by the Department of Agriculture to encourage local grocery stores to carry and advertise locally grown produce. Developed in 1998, the Simply Delicious campaign currently has more than 1,100 stores and 600 farmers taking part in the program statewide.
